ENDO AND JUBILANT EXPAND ONCOLOGY DISCOVERY PARTNERSHIP ON SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF EARLY MILESTONE

Bangalore, India, January 27, 2010 -- Jubilant Biosys Ltd., a subsidiary of Jubilant Organosys Ltd., and Endo Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ENDP)., of Chadds Ford, Pa., U.S.A., announced today that they have expanded their drug discovery partnership in oncology, following the successful delivery of an early stage milestone.
The year-old partnership focuses on Jubilant delivering preclinical candidates in the therapeutic area of oncology. Endo owns the late-stage development and commercialization rights for molecules discovered in the partnership. Jubilant derives research funding and success-based development and commercialization milestones.

Jubilant Biosys Limited, based in Bangalore, an integrated Drug Discovery and Development solution provider, a subsidiary of Jubilant Organosys Ltd, headquartered in Noida, announced today that it has entered into a co-marketing agreement to provide screening solutions, with DiscoveRx Corporation (Fermont, USA), a premier provider of innovative cell based assay solutions for GPCR, Kinases, NHR and Proteases.
This agreement allows Jubilant access to DiscoveRx PathHunterTM and cAMPHunterTM cell lines and proprietary EFC chemiluminescent detection technology to perform screening on behalf of Jubilant's customers. The agreement also enables DiscoveRx to expand its platform technology to offer screening solutions from India.

NOIDA, (UP) INDIA, December 1, 2009 - Jubilant Organosys Ltd., through its subsidiary Jubilant Biosys Ltd, based in Bangalore announced today that its 4 year old research collaboration with Eli Lilly & Company, has successfully delivered multiple discovery milestones and preclinical candidates, resulting in a five-year extension and an expanded portfolio collaboration.
Jubilant and Lilly had entered into an initial discovery research collaboration in late 2005. Lilly will continue to own any compounds developed under the collaboration and will be responsible for worldwide commercialization.
Lilly and Jubilant had also established a joint venture, Vanthys Pharmaceuticals, for early stage drug development in 2008. Under the terms of the new 5 year agreement Jubilant will receive research funding and success-based discovery and development milestones.

Download PDF | View Short SummaryNEW DELHI, INDIA (November 10, 2009) - Duke University and Jubilant Organosys Limited, the largest integrated Custom Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS) and leading Drug Discovery and Development Services (DDDS) company in India, through its subsidiary, Jubilant Biosys Limited, today signed a Letter of Intent to develop a multi-faceted partnership that will expedite translation of discoveries by Duke scientists into clinical therapies. The proposed partnership will also advance both organizations' mutual commitment to reducing global health disparities. The Parties shall complete definitive agreements by the first quarter of 2010.
Under the terms of this proposed partnership, Duke and Jubilant will work towards jointly selecting and managing a portfolio of translational research projects that leverages expertise and thought leadership from Duke University scientists and development capabilities including funding from Jubilant. The parties shall commit to work together over a period of five years with the objective of developing a portfolio of 4-5 technologies at steady state over the period of collaboration.

In her role at Clinsys, Ms. Lewis will be responsible for the project management and field operations groups including training, development and growth initiatives. She will also work to develop the strategic direction, global integration and expansion of clinical operations for the company.

Research collaboration to provide AstraZeneca with new preclinical drug candidatesNOIDA, INDIA (May 5, 2009) - Jubilant Organosys Ltd, headquartered in India, announced today that its Bangalore, India, based subsidiary,Jubilant Biosys Ltd, has signed a research collaboration agreement with, AstraZeneca, and focused on delivering novel drug candidates into the international pharmaceutical company's pre-clinical pipeline. Under the shared risk-reward collaboration, which will initially focus on the neuroscience area, Jubilant aims to deliver a steady stream of discovery programs to AstraZeneca.
AstraZeneca will own the compounds developed under the collaboration with worldwide development and commercialization rights. Jubilant will be eligible to receive research funding spanning an initial five-year period. In addition, AstraZeneca will also pay Jubilant success-based development milestones, as well as royalties based on successful global commercialization of any of the compounds.

Download PDF | View Short SummaryNOIDA, INDIA (November 17, 2008) - Jubilant Organosys Ltd. announced today that its subsidiary Clinsys Clinical Research, Inc.®, New Jersey, a global contract research organization (CRO), has acquired TrialStat ClinicalAnalytics® from TrialStat® for a purchase consideration of CAD 750,000.
TrialStat ClinicalAnalytics (TrialStat CA) is a Web-based electronic data capture (EDC) solution currently used by a wide range of pharmaceutical and CRO customers worldwide. TrialStat CA is the industry's first EDC platform to allow all aspects of a study to be configured, deployed and managed through a browser interface, enabling customers to start their studies quickly and cost-effectively.
Clinsys extensive global resources will enable TrialStat to continue its proven record of growth, customer service and product innovation. This agreement will give TrialStat's existing CRO and biopharmaceutical customer base a broader scope of services.
